Prof. Alain Stintzi The International Society of Microbiota (ISM) is pleased to announce that the 13th edition of Targeting Microbiota will take place on November 4–5, 2026, in Málaga, Spain.

This edition will mark an important moment for ISM, as it will be the first annual meeting held under the presidency of Prof. Alain Stintzi, recently appointed President of the International Society of Microbiota.

The 12th World Congress on Targeting Microbiota, organized by the International Society of Microbiota (ISM), was held on November 5–6, 2025, at The Westin Valencia, Spain.

This year’s edition brought together more than 180 participants from 23 countries, uniting top scientists, clinicians, and industry innovators to explore how microbiome science is transforming the future of medicine, nutrition, and biotechnology.
